Follow the blue line for this step.
If you do not have a color monitor, print a copy of this page and number each step yourself. The diagram would be so confusing with the addition of numbers that colors were used instead.
Come up one fabric thread above the top green stitch on the left side of this row,
Go under the first long black stitch,
Go over the second long green stitch, (The long blue stitch is not there yet.)
Go under the first leg of the small Cross Stitch, the right side
Go over the second leg of the small Cross Stitch, the left side
Go under the long green stitch,
Go over the blue stitch,
Go over the long black stitch,
Go under the other long green stitch,
Go over the long black stitch (Remember #3 above?)
Go under the right leg of the small Cross Stitch shown black here,
Go over the left leg of the small Cross Stitch shown black here,
Go under the long black stitch,
Go over the long blue stitch,
Go over the long green stitch,
Repeat steps 2 through 15 until you reach the right side, end the last stitch one fabric thread above the long green stitch as shown.
