My Passion for Hawaii

I stitched this after a trip to Hawaii, what a beautiful place! Above Honolulu there were eroded mountains with sheer faces that were terrifying to drive up because of these hairpin blind turns, but then I reached the arborteum and spent a beautiful afternoon on one of the mountains where it seemed the whole world was down below the meadow I was in. The design is satin stitched on evenweave, and finished it is 12 inches tall by 15 inches wide on a 28 count fabric.
