Hope Floats
Ever wonder what Noah's boat really looked like? This design uses Weeks Dye Works cotton floss and has border bands, even a diagonal one is on the anchor. It is 45 stitches wide and 324 stitches long and can be stitched on any even weave fabric. It says Water, Water, Everywhere, Hurricanes Swirlt, Rain Pelt, but What Noah Built Kept Hope Afloat

Bees' Skeep and Oak Leaves
One side of the project is an oak leaf ring in fall colors and the other side is a bee and flower ring. It's easy to assemble and can fit inside a 6 1/2 inch basket as a topper that really holds in the contents of the basket! I also use it for a scissor rest and needle cushion. 84 by 84 stitches wide and can be sewn on any even weave fabric, uses DMC cotton floss.

Travel Companion
This is a two sided design that shows no underside of the embroidery. It is always a big hit whenever I take it to classes or retreats. Those are all decorative stitches that do not cut any threads for bars.
|
Needle Necessaire
This design can hold your needles and pins, inside the dolls folds there is a fabric with stitched dividers for the needle sizes. It needs 10.5 inches by 23 inches of even weave fabric and a fabric to hold the needles. I used felt.

Home
The little fox winks a good morning to me every day. The moon is in a nite sky over the sun over a cloud over the mountains over the river with fishes through the silent woods across the fields pass the chicken yard through the rabbits' gate pass one of the cats and up to the door, Home! And I think it's paid in full. The design is 333 sts tall by 64 sts wide.

My Garden Has an Apple Tree
I always wanted an apple tree out the kitchen door, because I love apple pies. But they don't grow that well in south Texas so I stitched one and buy the apples at the store.
I also wanted a wrought iron fence like the one on the sampler, I wish I could find one like it.
The French have the most amazing wrought iron, and that inspired this garden fence. The blackwork looks complicated, but it's not because I made sure the stakes in the fence were individuals that could be made separately, then I used simple connectors to join them into a fence. This design is 239 sts long by 86 sts wide.
